If you’ve ever tried to secure a job as a test analyst but couldn’t get an interview, then you need to come and see us.
It seems like every week one of our graduates is finding a new career and this week is no exception.
Pankaj is the latest Industry Connect participant to find a job as a test analyst, so before he rode off into the sunset, we caught up with him to ask about his time with us.
How was your internship with Industry Connect?
The tutors were absolutely knowledgeable, and they can teach anybody, that part, the training part, was absolutely fantastic.
I used to work part time too, so I haven’t been in any meeting, but I used to watch the videos after work, especially the scrum meetings and they’re really nice.
You can gain a lot of knowledge and if someone’s going to ask you questions during an interview, you’ll be able to answer them no problem.
If you see any of those videos, you know what’s going to happen in the interview, you know what questions are going to be asked. I watched two or three of those videos behind the scrum meetings, and whatever you asked me I just gave him the answers.
Which part do you think is the most beneficial?
I would say Manil Kapoor’s part, because he taught us so many things.
He taught me Specflow, C#, API Testing, and even the performance testing. Four things in three weeks is a lot to cover, and the guy gets to the point, trust me.
He teaches the key points – I understand he’s not going to get through 100% of these things – but the key points he taught, those were the things that the interviewer asked me.
Manil was very helpful, he’s the best at what he does, and even his Facebook Live was very knowledgeable.
Would you recommend Industry Connect everyone?
