This time it’s Clovis who is starting a new career in the software industry as an integration developer.
Before he started his new job, we caught up with him to ask about his time with us and if he had any advice for other people in the same situation he was in.
Congratulations on your new job as an integration developer! What would you suggest to anyone wanting to get into the IT industry?
Well, if you’re new or if you’re changing career and you want to become a software developer, the first thing you need to do is make sure this is what you want to do, because it takes time; it takes effort to become a software developer and this place is perfect for this.
And how did Industry Connect help you when you arrived?
Industry Connect is the perfect place. You come here, and if you have no knowledge, they will tell you. They’ll walk you through the steps and they will show you what you need to do.
And you’re going to work with new technologies; the technology that’s in demand. Businesses are needing these new technologies and I had no idea before I came here.
I used to look for jobs on the internet, but, you know, you look for jobs; you’re not too sure what you’re looking for, there are so many technologies out there. When you come here, you focus in one thing, and that’s what is needed.
It’s actually very good technology they teach here, and I’m sure you’d be happy to work with this technology and you’re going to succeed.
That’s what you need. If you want to succeed, this is the place.
So you would recommend Industry Connect to everyone?
Totally, totally.
I’m so happy, I’ll never regret the decision I made to come here. I just thank God that it was a perfect decision I made to come here.
Of course you’re going to be a little bit worried when you first come here. But it is really good, and some people may think that’s too good to be true, but it is true.
And there’s no need to be scared, just come here and you’re going to do a great job, because the people here, they actually support you.
