We’ve helped hundreds of people find jobs and kick-start their careers, and our latest graduate to find work is Khushbu Prajaapati who has just secured a job as a Report Analyst.
We caught up with her to ask about her time with us.
Congratulations Khushbu! What do you think of the Industry Connect initiative?
If someone wants to extend their skills, or if they want to learn about the current tools and latest technology that’s going on, yes, I would recommend for them to join Industry Connect and MVP Studio.
MVP Studio allows you to work on live projects, where you can work on current tools and technologies that you’re not aware of, so yes, I would recommend.
Did Industry Connect help you become who you are today?
Certainly. Actually I didn’t want to go into a more technical direction when I joined Industry Connect. In fact, Mercia told me, if I didn’t want a more technical role, then to choose BI!
My background is computer application, so I have a background knowledge in SQL and everything, so I have learned a new technology in Power BI, and a little bit of Python and tableau.
What do you think of the remote learning internship?
It’s like remote work is the future. Each and every company is working remotely because of coronavirus. It’s a great opportunity to learn to work remotely, and every step in the day’s task is laid out. You can join the scrum meeting, or the V session, and then the others session. SO if you go to all these meetings then you’re in a live environment. MVP is giving you the live environment experience, even in lockdown!
What did you enjoy the most during your internship?
Because I was working during the internship, I never got to go to many of the live sessions, so maybe most people don’t know me! But I have seen each and every live recording of all the sessions. You can get really familiar, like how you want to pronounce, how you want to present yourself in an interview.
Would you recommend Industry Connect?
Of course, I do recommend already! Many people asked me how I’m getting into more technologies and I tell them Industry Connect!
